Harry Fehr
Harry Fehr studied philosophy at the University of Nottingham and was a member of the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme at the Royal Opera, Covent Garden.
He has directed, among others, The Elixir of Love (English National Opera), Orlando (San Francisco Opera / Welsh National Opera), Tosca (Dutch Touring Opera), L’elisir d’amore (Danish National Opera), Falstaff (Shanghai Opera House), Ariodante, Der fliegende Holländer, The Secret Marriage & Cinderella (Scottish Opera), Craig Armstrong’s The Lady from the Sea (Edinburgh International Festival), Roberto Devereux (Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe), Così fan tutte (Opera Holland Park) and La sonnambula, I Capuleti e i Montecchi & La finta giardiniera (Buxton Festival).
He works frequently with students and has directed productions for British Youth Opera, the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Dutch National Opera Academy, the Opera Academy Copenhagen, and all the major UK conservatoires.
Plans include The Cunning Little Vixen for the Royal Northern College of Music.

Benedikt Berndonner
The twenty eight year old Austrian bass Benedikt Berndonner currently studies at the “Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna”. He first experienced performing in an opera during his first studies “Energy Technologies” singing both in the choir and the small role of Un comissionario in Verdi's La Traviata. Ever since his passion for classical singing was kindled and he got to play several main roles in local amateur productions.
After finishing his engineering degree he knew he wanted to make this passion into a career and started studying “Solo Singing” in the capital of Austria Vienna.
During his studies he sang the role of “2. man of Mr. Jones” in the 2024 Austrian premiere of Alexander Raskatovs modern opera “Animal Farm” based on Orwells book at the “Vienna State Opera”. This year he sang the role of “Zuniga” in Bizet’s “Carmen” in the EUYOP-production at the Vienna Off-Theater and is currently preparing the role of “Don Basilio” of Rossinis “Il barbiere di Seviglia” at the “Opera in the Krypta”.

Joyce Lee Tung
Joyce Lee Tung, soprano, began her musical journey at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), majoring in piano while studying voice privately with Lim Shieh Yih. She later earned her Master of Arts in Voice under KS Joanna Borowska-Isser, and a Master’s in Concert Singing under Christine Whittlesey and Robert Heimann at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, Austria.
A finalist and prizewinner in several international competitions, Joyce was awarded 2nd Prize (1st Place) at the 2nd International Singing Competition in Maribor, Slovenia (2018). Her performances have been broadcast on European radio, showcasing a repertoire that spans from early music to contemporary works, including premieres of works by Americ Goh.
Joyce is the co-founder of The Art Song Coterie, a collective committed to the performance and promotion of art song. She has appeared as soloist with the NAFA Orchestra, Singapore Chinese Orchestra, Singapore Symphony Orchestra, and Philharmonic Winds Orchestra Singapore. Internationally, she has performed at the 14th Annual Chamber Music Festival of the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing (2023), the 42nd Daegu International Music Festival in Korea (2023) and Mahidol University in Thailand (2025).
She was a member of the Singapore Lyric Opera Artist Training Programme. Under the company, she performed roles such as Tonina in Salieri’s Prima la musica, Madame Herz in Mozart’s Der Schauspieldirektor, Frasquita in Bizet’s Carmen, Zerlina in an abridged version of Mozart’s Don Giovanni, and Adele in J. Strauss’ Die Fledermaus. Other operatic roles include the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s The Magic Flute with Kuala Lumpur City Opera; Marzelline in an abridged version of Beethoven’s Fidelio with The Opera People; Isabella in Rossini’s L’inganno felice with Lirica Arts; and Gilda in Verdi’s Rigoletto with New Opera Singapore.
Currently, Joyce is Adjunct Principal Study Lecturer in Voice at NAFA-UAS and Adjunct Voice Teacher at the School of the Arts (SOTA), Singapore.

Renata Hann Sungwon
Renata Hann, an international opera singer, is a highly sought-after voice teacher and soprano known for her powerful stage presence and refined artistry. With a career spanning Europe and Asia, she brings a wealth of operatic experience to both the stage and the classroom. She is currently based in Singapore and Korea.
Renata holds dual Master's degrees-one in Vocal Performance from Korea and another in Opera Performance from the prestigious National Conservatory of Parma (Conservatorio di Arrigo Boito di Parma) in Italy. Her international background informs her dynamic approach to both performance and pedagogy.
Renata relocated from Italy to Singapore, where she continues to teach a select group of dedicated voice students. She currently serves as a faculty member at Capital College, nurturing the next generation of vocal talent with a strong focus on technique, interpretation, and professional development.
As a performer, Renata's repertoire spans opera, musical theatre, and world music. Critics have described her as "a first-rate artist with a fabulous voice,” "passionate and believable," and "a consummate musician." She has appeared as an opera soloist with renowned companies and theatres including ARTE OPERA, Gwacheon Civic Center Theatre, Kyungwon University Theatre, Regio di Parma Theatre, Rosetum Theatre, Auditorium Theatre of Locate, and Santa Barbara di Mantova.
In Singapore, she made her debut with The Opera People (T.O.P) in 2021 as Morgana in Alcina, followed by a critically acclaimed performance as Lucia in The Rape of Lucretia. In 2022, she sang the role of Rosalinde in Singapore Lyric Opera's Die Fledermaus at the Esplanade Theatre. In 2023, she portrayed Amina in T.O.Pʼs production of La Sonnambula. Her recent performances in 2024 include Gilda in Rigoletto with New Opera Singapore and Donna Anna in Don Giovanni with T.O.P. That same year, she also featured as the soprano soloist in John Rutterʼs Magnificat for the 50th Anniversary Concert of the IFC Choir at SOTA Concert Hall.
Continuing her vibrant performance career into 2025 and beyond, Renata remains an active and inspiring figure in Singapore's classical music scene.

Edward Kim Kyungduk
Edward Kim, baritone, is an internationally acclaimed opera singer and educator originally from South Korea and currently based in Singapore. He has performed leading and featured roles across Europe and Asia, including Don Giovanni with The Opera People; Silvio in Pagliacci and Dan Cairo in Carmen with Singapore Lyric Opera; Forester in The Cunning Little Vixen with Hampstead Garden Opera; Dandini in La Cenerentola for the Welsh National Opera Gala conducted by Maestro Carlo Rizzi; Guglielmo in Le Villi; and Count Formaggio in La Pizza con Funghi with New Opera Singapore.
Edward has appeared at prestigious festivals such as the Verbier Festival (Atélier Lyrique), Oxford International Song Festival, and Voices of Singapore Festival. He is a laureate of several international competitions, including the Sir Ian Stoutzker Prize, the Osaka International Music Competition, the Antonina Campi Special Prize, and the Concert Artist Competition in New York.
He holds a Master of Performance with Distinction from the Royal College of Music and currently serves as full-time vocal faculty at Capital College of the Arts in Singapore.

Kezia Robson
Kezia Robson is a British-born, Singapore-based soprano known for her vibrant stage presence and versatile vocal artistry. Operatic highlights include Adele (Die Fledermaus, Strauss), Hanna Glawari (The Merry Widow, Lehár), Frasquita (Carmen, Bizet), Maguelonne (Cendrillon, Pauline Viardot), Amour (Médée, Charpentier), and Annina in Barefoot Opera’s 2024 UK tour of La Traviata.
Kezia trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, completing her postgraduate course in Vocal Performance. She also holds an MA in Music from the University of Birmingham and a First-Class BA in Anthropology and Sociology from Durham University.
Equally at home on the concert platform, Kezia’s recent performances include Chinese art song at Huaxia Cultural Club’s SG 60 celebration, a reimagined staging of Schubert’s Die schöne Müllerin with New Opera Singapore (June 2025), and two guest solo appearances with Resonance of Singapore: their 3 rd Anniversary Concert (May 2025) and An Evening of Arias and Musicals (August 2025). A regular collaborator with Musicians in the UK’s East Wind series, she has sung for the Chinese Embassy and appeared on CGTN (China Global Television Network).
Kezia’s oratorio repertoire includes Fauré’s Requiem, Saint-Saëns’ Christmas Oratorio, and Mozart’s Litaniae Lauretanae. Passionate about both new and neglected works, she has performed rediscovered compositions by Eliza Flower with Electric Voice Theatre and presented excerpts from Lisa Logan’s new opera Brontë, portraying Emily Brontë in concert at the Young V&A.

Kee Chun Kiat
Kee Chun Kiat graduated with First Class Honours in Vocal Performance from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts under the tutelage of Dr. Jessica Chen. In recent years, he has appeared as Remendado in Bizet’s Carmen and Monostatos in Mozart’s The Magic Flute. He has also performed leading roles in Mozart’s Bastien und Bastienne (Bastien), Offenbach’s L’île de Tulipatan (Hermosa), and Les Deux Aveugles (Patachon). He won first prize in the 2019 NAFA Vocal Competition and placed second in the 44th National Malaysian Vocal Competition. He is currently active as a chorusmaster and music educator in both Singapore and Malaysia.

Shawn Liew
Shawn Liew has been honored to develop his career as a bass-baritone across Southeast Asia's vibrant classical music scene. He has had the privilege of collaborating with leading ensembles, including the Aula Simfonia Jakarta, Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, Hallelujah Oratorio Society (Singapore), Bachfest Malaysia, Jakarta Oratorio Society, Kuala Lumpur City Opera, The Opera People, and New Opera Singapore, among others.

A career highlight was his performance as bass soloist in Beethoven's Ninth Symphony at Jakarta's historic 2019 Monas Concert – Indonesia's first large-scale outdoor classical event – before an audience of 25,000. In 2025, Shawn made his Taiwanese debut with a solo recital presented by YinQi Culture & Music Foundation and debuted with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra in excerpts from Carmen as Escamillo. He also returned to his roots with a charity concert for a children's home in East Malaysia.

Cherie Tse
Cherie is a Singaporean soprano who started her music education as a pianist at the age of 5. She achieved distinctions in ATCL and 'O' level music before discovering her passion for classical singing at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). She has since won several awards including the 1st prize in the NAFA Vocal Competition, 2nd prize in the Williams-Howard Memorial Prize 2022 (UK), 2nd prize in the 7th Tan Ngiang Kaw/Tan Ngiang Ann Vocal Competition, and the Gold Award in the 5th Bangkok Opera Singing Competition. She was also a finalist in the SLO-ASEAN Vocal Competition in 2018 and the SEA BachFest Competition in 2025.
As a soloist, Cherie has sung with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, RNCM Orchestra, The Opera People, Singapore Lyric Opera, Ding Yi Music Company, MusArt Wind Orchestra, West Winds, Chamber Sounds, NAFA New Music Ensemble, Singapore Pocket Opera Theatre, Hallelujah Oratorio Society, Music For People, Singapore International Festival of the Arts and Philharmonic Winds. Cherie was the soprano soloist in the world premiere of Dr. Zechariah Goh’s Songs of the Dragon Kiln at the Esplanade in December 2017.
Her operatic roles include Susanna in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Frasquita in Bizet’s Carmen, Zerlina in Mozart's Don Giovanni, Ifigenia in Handel’s Oreste, Blue Fairy in Jonathan Dove’s The Adventures of Pinocchio, Ghita in Zemlinsky’s Der Zwerg, the High Priestess in Verdi’s Aida, the Sandman and the Dew-fairy in Engelbert Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel, as well as Chloé from Offenbach’s Daphnis et Chloé. She also performed as Girl in the world debut of Singaporean composer Chen Zhang Yi's chamber opera for 2 sopranos, Window Shopping. She was a role cover of Pamina for York Opera’s production of The Magic Flute.
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from the Royal College of Music and participating in the Singapore Lyric Opera Artist Training Programme, Cherie went on to complete her Master's degree in Performance at the Royal Northern College of Music. She earned a distinction for the degree, and attained a high distinction for her final recital. To date, Cherie has performed in Singapore, Thailand, Austria, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan and the UK.

Rebecca Chellappah
Singapore born and Bristol based Mezzo soprano Rebecca Chellappah holds a Masters in Music with Distinction from the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM). She works full time as amezzosoprano and singing teacher.
Rebecca operatic title roles include Bizet's Carmen which won National Opera and Dramatic Association UK Best Operatic production 2018 in the UK , Rosina in Rossini's The Barber of Seville, Delilah in Saint-Saëns' Samson and Delilah and Helene in Offenbach's La Belle Helene. Rebecca performs regularly in Singapore and is delighted to be performing again with the Singapore Lyric Opera with whom she performed in her very first opera early in her singing journey as part of the SLO chorus.
An active recitalist, Rebecca has given many well received song recitals in Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan and the UK. She is also in demand internationally as an alto soloist in oratorio. Rebecca specialises in teaching singing technique and runs a successful private teaching studio. She believes that everyone should enjoy the pleasure of singing and loves helping others find the best in their voices.She is very passionate about the promotion of a healthy lifelong singing technique and firmly believes that singing is simply good for the soul.. Lin Renyue
Soprano Lin Renyue began singing in 2017, studying with Jeff Wu Jie.
In NAFA Opera Scenes, she has sung the roles of Marcellina (Le Nozze di Figaro), Second Lady (Die Zauberflöte) and Ännchen (Der Freischütz). Renyue was the first prize winner of the NAFA Vocal Competition in 2025.
She is currently pursuing her Bachelors of Music at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, studying with Joyce Lee Tung.

Oscar Rubén Alarcón Oré
Oré began his soloist career in Peru, where he is originally from, at the age of 17 and throughout the years he stepped on different stages of his home country.
Since coming to Europe in 2017, the Peruvian tenor has debuted in Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Austria, where he currently resides. A special mention goes to Accademia Rossiniana and Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro in 2017 and 2020, in which Oré performed with Resident Artist status, under the support and guidance of Ernesto Palacio, where he interpreted the role of Cavalier Belfiore in Il Viaggio a Reims conducted by Michele Spotti. In recent years he performed in opera houses and concert venues all over the globe as Ernesto in Don Pasquale (Singapore), Camille de Roussillon in Die Lustige Witwe (South Corea) or Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi (Austria). In 2022 he sang Pedrillo in Die Entführung Aus Dem Serail at the prestigious Angelika Prokopp Sommerakademie der Wiener Philharmoniker in various concert halls all over Austria. Alongside Juan Diego Florez, Mr. Oré appeared as a featured soloist in a tribute concert to the famous Peruvian tenor at Vienna’s Musikverein (2018).
Mr. Oré earned his Bachelor in Voice Degree from Universidad Nacional de Música (Lima, Peru), having studied with the revered Andrés Santa Maria, the first professor of Juan Diego Florez, after which he attended the Master Degree in Musical Dramatic Performance in Vienna at the renowned Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien (UMDW), where he has had the opportunity of learning from Ramón Vargas, among other inspiring artists. At these institutions he has enjoyed singing roles such as Conte D’Almaviva in Il Barbiere Di Siviglia, Acis in Acis And Galatea, Ernesto in Don Pasquale or Lindoro in L’italiana In Algeri, to name a few. He is currently finishing his studies at Universität Mozarteum (Salzburg), having taken part in the productions of I Capuleti e i Montecchi as Tebaldo and Don Giovanni as Don Ottavio and perfecting his technique with the acclaimed Juliane Banse.
Recent engagements in 2023 have brought Oré to Germany and Japan to take up the roles of Tonio in La Fille Du Régiment, Don Ramiro in La Cenerentola, main Tenor in Maria De Buenos Aires and Erste Jude in Salome. 2024 has seen Oré at Vienna’s headquarters of the UN performing Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, debuting in Portugal for recitals later in the year and marked his return to Germany, where he reprised the role as main Tenor in Maria De Buenos Aires at the Pfalztheater in Kaiserslautern and interpreted George Brown in La Dame Blanche in Munich.
In the 2025 season Oré took part in Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle (Germany), La Dame Blanche (Germany), Donizetti's Maria Padilla at the Teatro de la Maestranza (Spain), Don Giovanni (Germany and Japan) and Rossini's Barbiere Di Siviglia at the Opernbühne Maxlrain (Germany). As a standout moment of the year, Oré shared the stage with Sumi Jo at a Gala concert in Augsburg. In the upcoming months he will, among a series of concerts in Europe step in the solo role of Male Chorus in a production of The Rape of Lucretia by Britten.

Gianti Giadi
Gianti Giadi is a choreographer, a performing artist and the owner and artistic director of Gigi Art of Dance Studio, Company and Foundation in Jakarta, Indonesia since 2009.
She graduated from LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore with a Bachelor in Performing Arts. Her choreographies are showcased in different events such as concerts, site-specific performances, advertisements, commercials, contemporary festivals and musicals across Asia, including Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, as well as Australia, the USA and Europe.
She has dedicated her life to providing platforms for youth to find their voices to advocate, express and find their superpower through performing arts for the past 16 years including an inclusive programme for individuals with Down syndrome and special needs for the past 11 years.
Outside of performing and creating dance, she also has a #PassionForFashion where she designs costumes and merchandise under her own company, GShop. She has designed costumes for dance crews and companies in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore and is very honored to be given the trust to design for Singapore Lyric Opera.

Joshua Tan
2nd Prize winner of the 2008 Dimitri Mitropoulos International Competition, Singaporean conductor Joshua Kangming Tan’s rise to prominence on the international scene has been marked by successful debuts in Carnegie Hall, Philharmonie Berlin, Mariinsky Hall and Bunkamura. A graduate of The Juilliard School and the Eastman School of Music (High Distinction), he is an awardee of numerous scholarships and awards, such as the Young Artist Award, Singapore (2011), Bruno Walter Memorial Foundation Award, NAC-Shell Scholarship, and the SSO/MOE Scholarship.
Joshua has conducted orchestras all around the world. These orchestras include the Mariinsky Theater Orchestra, Beethoven Bonn Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Urals Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Metropolitan Orchestra, Sapporo Symphony Orchestra, Okayama Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Taipei Symphony Orchestra, National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, Evergreen Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, China Philharmonic Orchestra, Julliard Orchestra amongst others. He has studied with various eminent conductors—James DePreist, Charles Dutoit, David Zinman and Kurt Masur—and worked with many others, such as Michael Tilson Thomas, Ingo Metzmacher and George Manahan.
Known as a versatile conductor, Joshua is at home with symphonic, operatic and ballet works. His substantial repertoire for opera includes La Traviata, Rigoletto, Der Fliegende Holländer, Lohengrin, Carmen, Don Giovanni, Madama Butterfly, Così fan tutte, Turandot, among others. He has also served as cover conductor for Christoph Eschenbach and Lorin Maazel. He is also equally adept with music for ballet, film and multimedia. For the latter, his extensive work include Disney’s Fantasia and Pixar, all of BBC’s Blue Planet Series, West Side Story, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, James Bond and more. The Singapore premiere of Bernstein’s Mass, conducted by Joshua, was voted the best classical concert of the year 2018 by the Straits Times. For an unprecedented second year, his performance of the opera Don Pasquale was also voted the best classical concert of the year 2019 by the Straits Times.
Joshua is presently Principal Conductor of the Singapore National Youth Orchestra and Director of the Asia Virtuosi. He has served successful stints as Associate Conductor of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, Resident Conductor of the National Center for the Performing Arts (China) Orchestra , and as Principal Conductor of the Guiyang Symphony Orchestra. Highlights of this season include debuts with the Melbourne, New Zealand and Manila Symphony Orchestras, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Taipei Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre National de Bretagne, a new opera premiere in Hong Kong , return engagements to Hong Kong Philharmonic, Evergreen Symphony, the operas Das Rheingold,Die Fledermaus, Pagliacci and Cavalleria Rusticana, and with the Singapore Ballet The Nutcracker and Cinderella.

Terrence Toh
Terrence Toh is a Singaporean choral director, music educator and chorus master. He holds a Master of Music from Boston University and has studied under Dr. André de Quadros, Dr. Owen Brian William and Dr. Diana R. Dansereau. His research interests mainly concern the transformative power of music, music education, and music-making.
He is the resident Chorus Master of the Singapore Lyric Opera (SLO) and has directed the chorus for SLO's productions of Pagliacci (2015, 2023), Turandot (2016), L’elisir d’amore (2017), Aida (2018), Carmen (2019), Die Fledermaus (2022) and Cavalleria Rusticana (2023). He currently directs the program for the three SLO choruses (Children, Youth, Adult) and also serves as a member of the SLO Artistic Committee.
Choral programmes under Terrence’s direction have consistently garnered gold awards and distinction certificates in the Singapore Youth Festival, and he has led choirs to success in international competitions in the Czech Republic, Malaysia, and Italy. He also regularly features in Esplanade’s Limelight concert series and actively participates in Esplanade’s Voices – A Festival of Song as a performer and clinician.
A lifelong music educator, he firmly believes in a progressive curriculum grounded in education ethics and realised through Critical Pedagogy, empowerment and transformative music.
