Raffaele d’Ascanio

Between 1990 and 2000 Rafaelle d’Ascanio studied at the Conservatory L D’Annunzio in Pescara. He also studied in Florence. In 2013 he sang the role of Duca di Mantova/Borsa in Verdi’s Rigoletto in Belgium. He has performed a wide range of operatic roles throughout Italy including Acis and Galatea (Handel),L’Atenaide (Vivaldi) and Gianni Schicchi (Puccini). He sang the role of Alfredo in La Traviata (Verdi), Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Il Cavaliere Errante (Traetta), as well as singing in concerts in St Petersburg and in performances of Haydn’s Stabat Mater in Fiesole and Florence.
