It is a drama that has something for just about everyone, charting the emotions of which anyone can sympathise through a series of irresistible tunes : Seguidilla, Flower Song, Toreador Song, Parle-moi de ma mere, Habanera, Les Voici! to name a few. Carmen is easily placed as one of the dozen most frequently performed operas in the world.
